Biography.

Geoffrey Herberg of Chemistry for hair  was inspired to pursue his hairdresing talents by his mother a well knownhairdresser in her own right. It was through her suiggestion that hair fashion could be a great career with opportunities of travel and so many possibilities, with travel, being a facet pursued by geoffrey from an early age and in current times as ASK creative education team member on behalf of Schwarzkopf professional. Born in Brisbane, he has become one of the biggest local success stories in the incredibly competitive hairdressing industry. In the field of competition he has received over 500 awards at local state national and international level since the beginning of his career which began in 1988. His chosen career path has forged ahead of his early apprentice days to senior stylist, Art director,Techical manager ,Business owner and entrepeneur.

Today, geoffrey's focus is on education and the future of our craft. A talented all rounder he can cut colour and style hair transforming just about anything.He relates hair to fabric and his philosophy is that it can be cut coloured and shaped the possibilities are endless. He is also mentor to his team and manages everyone to achieve their goals and it is his innovative approach that makes his business stand alone in a strongly competitive market

Geoffrey is passionate about his craft and is always happy to share his ideas and knowledge to anyone that is keen to listen, to this day it is his passion and his constant direction. Geoffrey and his tem have held seminars all over Australia such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Vietnam and New ZealandIn 2007 he was awarded  the Schwarzkopf Award of Merit for his outstanding dedication to the industry and the PH club  (progressive hairdressers club)
